“This House unanimously resolves that the Government in recognition of the exemplary contribution to the Society and the State by former MLA Late Smt. Victoria Fernandes as Minister and Deputy Speaker, name the newly inaugurated flyover in Santa Cruz connecting Panaji to Old Goa as Shrimati Victoria Fernandes flyover.”

The attention of the House is drawn as regards the proposed and ongoing development around Toyyar lake known for its ecosystem and bio-diversity and hence this wetland ecosystem needs to be maintained. The people of Chimbel and especially the ST community needs to be informed of the steps taken to protect and preserve this eco-system and whether the development curtails road widening and demolition of houses. The steps the Government has taken to bring clarity and to preserve ecosystem in this regard.”

“Attention of the House is called as regards the people of St. Cruz Constituency due to the confusion near Merces-Panaji Circle caused by the traffic signal system and as there is no service road on one side. the Steps the Government has taken in the matter.”

“Fear and Anxiety in the minds of the people of Santa Cruz Constituency due to the act of draining the water from Bondvoll Lake by tampering the outflow valve. The steps the Government has taken in this regard.” 

“Fear and Anxiety in the minds of the people of Santa Cruz, due to the dilapidated condition of the G.M.C. run O.P.D. Health Centre and the School for Children which is in the same premises situated at Premiero Bairo in Santa Cruz village. The building structure is in a very bad condition. The steel of the ceiling and walls are exposed; and massive cracks and water leakage can be seen. If left unattended, the structure may collapse at any time. The steps the Government intends to take in the matter.”

Fear & Anxiety in the minds of the people of St. Cruz Constituency due to dumping of Garbage on the Service Roads to National Highways in St. Cruz Constituency causing nuisance & pollution. Whether the Govt. is aware that some Panchayats claim it does not fall in their jurisdiction. Whether the Govt. will physically demarcate Village panchayat boundaries along the National Highways? What plan does the Govt. have to resolve the same?

The attention of the house is drawn with regards to Sub Health Centre Merces in Merces Village of St. Cruz Constituency. The Sub Health Centre Merces sees above 150 patients on a daily basis & due to the same additional staff is required. What plan does the Govt. have to resolve the same? 

Fear & Anxiety in the minds of the people of Chimbel Village due to the dilapidated condition of the service road for the main water supply pipeline running from Vaddy, Merces to Chimbel. What steps will the Govt. take to resolve the same?
