SHRI SUBHASH PHALDESAI, MLA called the attention of Hon.
Minister for Public Works to the following:

 “Fear and apprehension in the minds of the people of Sanguem due to the
collapse of the culvert bridge over Selaulim dam canal near Paikdev temple
and the fall of a tipper in water canal. The other two foot bridges i.e. one
foot bridge over Selaulim river at Paikev temple, Temchiwada in Sanguem
and other at Nondurlem, Sanguem are also in a dilapidated condition which
may cause danger to the life of public. Measures Government will take to
solve this issue”.
              
 
SHRI RAMAKRISHNA DHAVALIKAR, Minister for PWD made a
statement in regard thereto.

SHRI SUBHASH PHAL DESSAI, MLA called the attention of the Minister for Public Works Department to the following:

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people of Sanguem Constituency that the new Government project of JICA water supply will draw additional water to the extent of 110 MLD to supply the same i.e. 24 X 7 and 365 days to whole of South Goa. However, due to huge drawal of water the water resources currently used to irrigate farm products will be dried up leading to serious consequences to the farmers from Bhati, Vaddem and Netravalim and as also drinking water pipeline has not been laid or proposed to lay to whole of Sanguem Constituency. Steps the Government plans to take in the matter”.

SHRI RAMAKRISHNA DHAVALIKAR, Minister for Public Works Department madea statement in regard thereto.

4A. *WILL the Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs be pleased to state:

  1. whether the Department has communicated/informed about the alleged malpractices to the BCCI, such as financial fraud, misuse of properties, corruption and corrupt practices which has allegedly occurred in Goa Cricket Association, allegedly by the former Members of the Managing Committee/representatives in the year 2007;
  2. if so, furnish details thereof;
  3. the reasons for not taking any action till date on Goa Cricket Association for electing and appointing one Mr. Vinod Phadke of GCA Managing Committee as Secretary, wherein Pendse Commission has banned the Association from electing Mr. Vinod Phadke on GCA Managing Committee; and
  4. whether the Goa Cricket Association has taken any positive steps as per Pendse Commission Report which has been accepted and adopted by the Government in 2012, if so, details thereof and whether the Government has acted on Pendse Commission recommendations;
  5. whether the Government is aware about the alleged fraud and misappropriation in Goa Cricket Association and that the former President, Secretary, and treasurers were in police custody for fifteen days;
  6. the reasons thereof the Government allowed to continue these allegedly tainted and allegedly accused to enjoy the highest positions in GCA for so long;
  7. whether the Registrar has anytime verified their accounts statement from time to time since Goa Cricket Association has its registration with Registrar of Societies under 1860 Act;
  8. whether their registration with Registrar of Societies is still valid, if not, the reason for not de-recognizing GCA;
  9. whether the Government has de-affiliated GCA and appointed Administrator to save the future of talented Goan cricketers; and
  10. whether Goa has any other body through which the talented players could play for Nationals and International matches in the absence of GCA ?

(b) whether the Government is aware that there is no nurse, no peon, no pharmacist and no compounder at RMD Netravallim in Sanguem during the last four years;
(c) whether the Government is aware about the worst condition of RMD at Vaddem in Sanguem, if so, details thereof;
(d) the details of staff deployed at RMD Vaddem as on date;
(e) whether the Government is aware that each of these RMDs are situated 20 to 30 kms away from the nearest PHC Sanguem;
(f) whether the Government has neglected the health facilities in such remote areas where there are no private medical practitioners; and
(g) whether Government will act to provide necessary staff and infrastructure in all RMDs in Sanguem, if so, the details thereof?

whether the Government has any proposal for construction of RMD building construction at RMD Rivona in Sanguem;

Sir, Yes.

(b)

whether the Government is aware that there is no nurse, no peon, no pharmacist and no compounder at RMD Netravallim in Sanguem during last four years;

No post of Staff Nurse is sanctioned to RMD, Netravallim.

The post of Peon has been filled in 2015.

The Post of Pharmacist and Compounder is one and the same, which has been lapsed. However as a stop gap arrangement, one Pharmacist from PHC, Navelim is deployed.

(c)

whether the Government is aware about the worst condition of RMD at Vaddem in Sanguem, if so, details thereof;

RMD, Vaddem is functioning in Panchayat Building.

No posts have been created for the RMD, Vaddem. However one Medical Officer is deployed as stop gap arrangement

(d)

the details of staff deployed at RMD Vaddem as on date;

One Medical Officer is deployed at RMD Vaddem

(e)

whether the Government is aware that each of these RMDs are situated 20 to 30 kms away from the nearest PHC Sanguem;

Yes.

(f)

whether the Government has neglected the health facilities in such remote areas where there are no private medical practitioners; and

No.

(g)

whether Government will act to provide necessary staff and infrastructure in all RMDs in Sanguem, if so, the details thereof?

The necessary staff will be appointed at RMD Vaddem, no sooner the posts are created.

Revival of post of Pharmacist at RMD Neturlim has not been agreed to.

However, stopgap arrangement has been made by deploying a Medical Officer at RMD Vaddem and a Pharmacist at RMD Neturlim.

RMD Vaddem is located at Salaulim Irrigation Project premises and RMD Neturlim is in Government Premises.
