Preserve the monuments & places of historical importance

“This House strongly recommends the Government to take immediate steps to preserve the monuments and places of historical importance. Many such monuments and places of archival/archaeological/historical importance are in private owned lands and the Government must acquire such lands to preserve our rich historical sites and monuments.”

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people of the State, that due to incessant rains, flooding/inundation, landslides and water logging, has been witnessed in several parts of the State and also due to the incessant rains and the heavy flow of the Valvanti River on the NH 748 AA road at Tulshimala, several trees have been uprooted and embankments along the roadsides have also been washed away. The steps the Government has taken in the matter.”

Rising news of activities of Popular Front of India

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of people of Goa , in connection to rising news of activities of Popular Front of India in the State of Goa. It may be noted that recently in the month of November 2022 there were raids conducted at Fatorda, Shivodem etc. Goa is an example of brotherhood and communal harmony and such organisations are posing a threat to the social fabric of Goa. The steps Government intends to take in this regards.”

Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people of Pernem Constituency regarding various accidents prone zones wherein there is an urgent need for

A) Construction of flyover or underpass at the junction of Village Dhargal as well as at Naibag Poraskade.

B) Urgent installation of traffic signals at Dhargal till the construction work of underpass is getting completed.

Shortage of water for Pernem Constituency

Fear and anxiety in the minds of people of pernem Constituency regarding shortage of drinking water due to increase number of projects like MOPA International Airport,Ayush Hospital, industries at Pernem Constituency. people strongly believe that major water supply is diverted to these projects which has results in shortage of water in domestic use for the locals.It is no where seen that water tankers are being use by any of these commercial bodies but by the locals of the area  for domestic consumption.

018A - COMMERCIAL AND DOMESTIC USAGE OF RAW WATER IN PERNEM TALUKA

*Will the Minister for Water Resources be pleased to state:


(a) the details of the quantity of water available at the site of the newly constructed pump house at Bailpar  Cansarvernem from various sources such as Kalna River, Tilari Plant and on-going project of Sal Bandara; the details of  
the expected quantity of water through each source and also the minimum quantity of water required for the pump to operate;
(b) the domestic as well as commercial requirement of raw water for Pernem Taluka with details of its utilisation and sites;
(c)  with the upcoming developmental projects in Pernem Taluka, whether the Government foresees in the next 10 years its ability to supply sufficient raw water to both Water Treatment plants so that there will be uninterrupted  
drinking water supply to the Taluka or whether the Government will have to adopt the \'alternate day model\' for daily domestic usage with details thereof; 
(d) whether the Government has made any commitment or agreement for regular supply of raw water to the various commercial projects at  Pernem Taluka; if so the details thereof;
(e) in cases of shortage of raw water at the site of Bailpar Cansarvernem, will the Government give priority to the Water Treatment Plants  for domestic use or  commercial use for various projects with details and reasons therefor;  
and
(f) whether it is binding upon the Government to prioritize the needs of domestic consumers than for Commercial purpose or whether it is decided according to the situation; the details with documents for clarification?

constructing protection walls for smooth discharge of water and guided flow; and
(b) the measures taken by the WRD during pre-monsoon preparation to avoid floods due to sudden discharge of water through various above outlets with details?

(a) the details of number of Transformers and electricity poles which are newly installed by the Department of Electricity at Pernem Constituency or in the jurisdiction of Pernem Sub Station;

(b)The frequency of Power failure reported (in a day) in the last two months at Pernem Sub Station; and

(c) whether it is because of conventional open wire power supply which results in frequent power failure; if so, do they need to be replaced with underground cabling; if so, the timeline to achieve the goal of underground cabling; furnish the present status with regards to underground cabling at Pernem Constituency with details?
