Preserve the monuments & places of historical importance

“This House strongly recommends the Government to take immediate steps to preserve the monuments and places of historical importance. Many such monuments and places of archival/archaeological/historical importance are in private owned lands and the Government must acquire such lands to preserve our rich historical sites and monuments.”

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people of the State, that due to incessant rains, flooding/inundation, landslides and water logging, has been witnessed in several parts of the State and also due to the incessant rains and the heavy flow of the Valvanti River on the NH 748 AA road at Tulshimala, several trees have been uprooted and embankments along the roadsides have also been washed away. The steps the Government has taken in the matter.”

Rising news of activities of Popular Front of India

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of people of Goa , in connection to rising news of activities of Popular Front of India in the State of Goa. It may be noted that recently in the month of November 2022 there were raids conducted at Fatorda, Shivodem etc. Goa is an example of brotherhood and communal harmony and such organisations are posing a threat to the social fabric of Goa. The steps Government intends to take in this regards.”

Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people of Pernem Constituency regarding various accidents prone zones wherein there is an urgent need for

A) Construction of flyover or underpass at the junction of Village Dhargal as well as at Naibag Poraskade.

B) Urgent installation of traffic signals at Dhargal till the construction work of underpass is getting completed.

Shortage of water for Pernem Constituency

Fear and anxiety in the minds of people of pernem Constituency regarding shortage of drinking water due to increase number of projects like MOPA International Airport,Ayush Hospital, industries at Pernem Constituency. people strongly believe that major water supply is diverted to these projects which has results in shortage of water in domestic use for the locals.It is no where seen that water tankers are being use by any of these commercial bodies but by the locals of the area  for domestic consumption.

(a) the village-wise and town-wise details of water bodies existing in the entire Pernem Constituency;
(b) the steps the Government has taken to develop each one of them with details thereof;
(c) the total number of water bodies developed and maintained in Pernem Constituency;
(d) the total number of water bodies that are not yet developed in Pernem Constituency with reasons therefor; and
(e) the progress made by the Government with regard to their development?

004A - PANCHAYAT GHAR AT TAMBOXEM, MOPA, UGAVE

*WILL the Minister for Panchayati Raj be pleased to state:

(a) the present status of the Panchayat Ghar to be constructed at Tamboxem, Mopa, Ugave in Pernem Constituency;
(b) whether the work of construction of the Panchayat Ghar has been entrusted to GSIDC;
(c) if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether all necessary permissions along with financial approvals have been obtained; and
(e) if not, the timeframe by which it will be tendered and completed?

Answer:

(a) the present status of the Panchayat Ghar to be constructed at Tamboxem, Mopa, Ugave in Pernem Constituency;

Ans:Sir, Presently, the work is under pretender stage and the drawing/plans approved by the concerned Panchayat have been forwarded to the Directorate of Panchayats (DoP) for onward submission to Town & Country Planning Department (TCP) for necessary Technical Clearance.  However, no communique has been received by this office till date.

(b) whether the work of construction of the Panchayat Ghar has been entrusted to GSIDC;

Ans:Yes Sir, the work of construction of the Panchayat  Ghar has been entrusted to GSIDC.

(c) if so, the details thereof;

Ans: Sir, The work was taken up by GSIDC on 11.10.2017. The consultancy work was awarded on 29.08.2018.  The work is in pretender stage.  Earlier drawings were sent for onward submission to TCP on 29.11.2019, However, no communique was received by GSIDC. Subsequently, due to Panchayat’s request the plans were revised and revised drawings were sent again to DoP for onward submission to TCP on 23.09.2024. However, no communique has been received till date.

(d) whether all necessary permissions along with financial approvals have been obtained; and

Ans: Sir, The construction license file was moved to DoP for onward submission to TCP and the reply for the same is awaited.

(e) if not, the time frame by which it will be tendered and completed?

Ans: Sir, The estimate will be finalized after approval from TCP is received and thereafter work will be tendered and can be completed within 15 months from the date of award of work.
