“This House resolves and request the Government to start L.A
proceedings to acquire land from Porvorim, Salvador-do-Mundo to
Aldona via Ecoxim, Pomburpa for constructing a public road.”

SHRI CHURCHILL ALEMAO, Minister for PWD replied to the points
raised by the mover.

“This House unanimously resolves that Government to start L.A
proceedings for proposed P.H.C. centre at Porvorim or to set up
the same in available Government land at Porvorim / Penha De
France.”

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of sportsmen of Goa due to reported
decision of the Government to give 3% marks to the sportsmen in the
annual examination of academic year 2009-2010 in variance with Goa
Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education to grant upto 52
marks for different sportsmen, which is rational and correct and the action
the Government intends to take in the matter to give 52 marks to the
sportsmen as per Sports Policy of Goa Government in time frame.”

making fresh new sub-divisions, duping large number of allottees and

builders, thereby causing huge loss to the Communidade and also to
the owners of plots and failure on the part of the Government to
investigate the F.I.R filed by Administrator of Communidade of
Bardez.”

SHRI DAYANAND NARVEKAR, MLA made a mention about the failure on part of the Government to take disciplinary and also corrective action against Shri Sanjay Raikar, A.E. (Building) section , PWD for giving occupancy certificate to Danny Fernandes on 26/02/2010 for incomplete building.
The building did not even had doors, windows, toilet blocks, etc as per the inspection Report of the Panchayat of Socorro dated 19/04/2010 and certified by Vigilance Department. The occupancy certificate is not revoked till today and no action taken against the A.E. (Building) section and specific assurance of action contemplated by Government by time bound.
SHRI DIGAMBAR KAMAT, Chief Minister replied to the mention.

SHRI DAYANAND NARVEKAR made a mention regarding
reckless filling of mining ore from Sirsaim Bardez thus destroying
bunds mangroves along the river Mandovi from Acoi Mapusa-Moira,
Quitla-Aldona on the way to MPT. Similarly underlying water pipeline
supplying water from Assnora Reservoir to Aldona via Sirsaim being
broken constantly thereby denying water supply to the residents of
Aldona-Pomburpa, Ecoxim, Salvador do Mundo.

mention.

S/SHRI DAYANAND NARVEKAR and LAXMIKANT PARSEKAR, made
a mention about “ Apprehension in the minds of people about 100 drivers
and conductors of KTC presently on agitation of fast unto death has not only
disrupted the smooth schedule of KTC across the State but also has seriously
affected the families of the staff and are facing serious mental torture for last
over six days.”
