CALLING ATTENTION

Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, MLA called the attention of Hon. Minister for Panchayats to the following: 

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people of Colvale for having taken resolutions by the Village Panchayat Colvale for various development works to be undertaken under Village Panchayat fund have been recorded in the proceedings book without discussing the same in the fortnightly meeting held on 28.06.2017, which were neither on the agenda nor discussions were held on the subject. Action Government intends to take in the matter.”

SHRI MAUVIN GODINHO, Minister for Panchayats made a statement in regard thereto.

Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, MLA sought clarifications.

“This House congratulates the Hon. Minister for Health and the Doctors of the Goa Medical College that has ranked 23rd across all Government Hospitals in India. It is indeed a proud moment for the Health Department that the Government has made efforts and dedicatedly worked hard to bring Goa Medical College to such great heights. Thus the Government’s vision to make GMC the best Government hospital in the Country with State-of-Art facilities and infrastructure working towards a progressive and healthy Goa has been achieved.

The Motion as amended was adopted unanimously.

CONGRATULATORY MOTION

  Shri Nilkanth Halankar, MLA moved the following:               

“This House congratulates Shrungi Bandekar, Yash Gaonkar, Jerry D’Mello, Sohan Ganguly, Suman Patil and other Team members for winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in Swimming Category and Megan D. Almeida for winning Gold in Diving including Mr. Surjit Ganguly team Coach at 63rd National School Games in New Delhi, thus bringing pride and glory to Swimming and Diving Sports and to the State of Goa.”

 The Motion was adopted unanimously.
