Acute Water shortage

Attention of the House is called as regards the residents of Numoxint area, due to the acute water shortage faced for the past one month, caused by the water leakage in the pipeline near Hotel Sheetal, St Inez. The pipeline is below the new concrete road executed under Smart City Works which    needs to be discontinued at the earliest by commencing the new pipeline network already laid in the area. The steps the Government will take to resolve this issue.”

CALLING ATTENTION

SMT. JENIFFER MONSERATE, MLA called the attention of Minister
for Water Resources to the following:                                                
“Fear and apprehension in the minds of the public of Taleigao due to the frequent flooding of low lying areas namely Camrabhat, Peterbhat and surrounding areas as such there is an urgent need of demolition and reconstruction of culverts/bridges to facilitate the easy flow of water as at the present the flow of water is restricted due to only pipes being laid under these bridges/culverts along with other utilities. The areas that needs demolition & reconstruction near Gaunkar Hospital, Expert Pharmacy, Ford Showroom, Thomas Garage and area around Dudh Badshah’s house.Immediate steps the Government will take to ease the flooding”.

SHRI DAYANAND MANDREKAR, Minister for Water Resources made a statement in regard thereto.

Increasing number of robberies reported in Donapaula

Attention of the House is drawn that  the  minds of the residents of Donapaula due to the increasing number of robberies reported.

There was yet another break-in on the 22nd of July where valuables were stolen by the thieves. This is the 3rd incident in the span of 4 months thus causing panic among the neighbourhood.

The immediate steps the government will take to resolve this issue.
