“This House unanimously resolves to urge the Government to carve out a third District in the State of Goa, comprising of Sanvordem, Ponda, Sankhali, Valpoi, Priol, Shiroda, Marcaim Constituencies with headquarters at Ponda; so that the people of these areas do not have to face hardships to visit Panaji or Margao which is quite a distance and the public at large face a lot of inconvenience.”

“This House strongly recommends the Government to make provision for political reservation in the Goa Legislative Assembly for the Scheduled Tribes of Goa State. As per the census of 2011, Scheduled Tribes (ST) constitute 10.23% of Goa's population. This community deserves to be brought into the mainstream, needs support to make the community more educated as well as empowered and hence needs a larger political representation to achieve the same.” 

Attention of the House is called as regards the people of Sanvordem Constituency as well as Goa State at large, especially Tribal population; about improper assessment of Forest Rights Claims and also inordinate delay in settlement of claims in both North Goa as well as South Goa Districts.”  

Attention of the House is called to the massive landslides in Wayanad in Kerala where hundreds of lives were lost and devastation caused to Houses, Environment and animals. Similar landslides have taken place in other parts of India. Goa, too, is experiencing similar incidents. Unplanned and excessive development in ecologically sensitive areas in both districts of Goa including Dharbandora in the Western Ghats are prone to such landslides. The Steps the Government has taken in the matter.

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of the public over non-enforcing of the directions on fencing of illegal quarries resulting in deaths by drowning repeatedly. The owners or operators of such quarries should the held liable by the authorities. The steps the Government will take in this matter”.

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people travelling from Goa to Karnataka via Old Goa, Anmod Ghat regarding completion of the single-line to four-line road since driving on this road has become risky. The steps of the Government to rectify the same”.

“Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people regarding frequent power outages in the State of Goa specially during monsoons. Dangerous condition of trees and old electrical poles, shortage of conductors and insulators and others spares has which has led to power outages. The steps the Government intendsto take in the matter in future”

“This house congratulates the Goan Tchoukball girl’s team for winning Gold Medal in VIth Senior National Tchoukball Championship 2013, held at Ponda Goa which was concluded on 30/4/2013.”

Attention of the House is drawn Upgradation of existing Rural Medical Centre at Collem, Dharbandora, in Savourdem Constituency. the work commenced in 2019 but til today its is not completed.

केंद्र सरकारान जारी केल्ल्या नव्या अधिसूचनेच्या मसुद्याप्रमाण गोंय राज्यातली 108 गांवा आनी 1461 स्क्वेअर किलोमीटर क्षेत्रफळ “पर्यावरणदृष्ट्या संवेदनशील” म्हण जाहीर जातली. 

ह्या निर्णयाक लागून ते 108 गांव आनी तमाम गोयकारांच्या मनांत भय आनी संभ्रम निर्माण जाला म्हण ही शून्य प्रहर सुचोवणी. 

Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people who are travelling via Manohar International Airport Mopa regarding the correct name of the airport.

On the gantries and signage is near the airport. It is written as new Goa Manohar International Airport. Many airlines while landing announced that it is the Mopa North Goa airport on the portals of air tickets and ticket booking websites. It is written as north Goa Airport.

This is creating confusions and unnecessary complications in the minds of tourists travelling to Goa and vice versa regarding the name of the Airport.

Request Honourable Chief Minister to clarify the name of the airport and insist operator to use the official name of the Airport in all the communication on all types of Media.

Bhandura which is going on war footing which is likely to affect Goan economy.
