“This House strongly recommends the Government to make provision for political reservation in the Goa Legislative Assembly for the Scheduled Tribes of Goa State. As per the census of 2011, Scheduled Tribes (ST) constitute 10.23% of Goa's population. This community deserves to be brought into the mainstream, needs support to make the community more educated as well as empowered and hence needs a larger political representation to achieve the same.”

Fear and anxiety in the minds of the people who are travelling via Manohar International Airport Mopa regarding the correct name of the airport.
On the gantries and signage is near the airport. It is written as new Goa Manohar International Airport. Many airlines while landing announced that it is the Mopa North Goa airport on the portals of air tickets and ticket booking websites. It is written as north Goa Airport.
This is creating confusions and unnecessary complications in the minds of tourists travelling to Goa and vice versa regarding the name of the Airport.
Request Honourable Chief Minister to clarify the name of the airport and insist operator to use the official name of the Airport in all the communication on all types of Media.
